My March Counterfeit Kit!

This site is SO fun: Counterfeit Kit Challenge! They take a current kit from a kit club, share it with you on the site, you create your "counterfeit kit" and follow along with the challenges, tutorials, and oogle over all the great kits and projects others have created!

Studio Calico's, "mossy knoll" kit is here:

My take below :)

I really like the blue 'embellished' circle paper, the bingo papers, the great ribbons, buttons, and of course the thickers. I added some fun flowers, lots of ribbon, some journaling tags, a handmade bird die-cut, coordination cardstock (the kind you get to sandpaper and a fun inside color appears), buttons, gems, and chipboard. I can't wait to get creating, i see layouts about friends, family, and even birthday (with those cute basic grey chipboard cupcakes!)

Here is an extra "add on" kit I created, not totally based on one of Studio Calico kits, but kind of same patterns.....really loving this red, cream, black with hints of sea-green!

PS, I got the bird die-cut and the journaling tags in a swap....fun times in swaps (for sure!)

  2. Great kits. I may have to pull a piece of that Coordinations paper to add to my kit. Love the Cosmo Cricket too.

  5. Nice kits and I like your write up on the side. Very clever. Can hardly wait to see how you use the chipboard cupcakes. A "swap" sounds really interesting. Never been to one, but I belong to a Cricut Club. A swap with them might be a lot of fun. Thanks for the idea.
